Before Your Appointment

How to Prepare

A little preparation goes a long way. Here is what to have ready before your appointment so everything goes smoothly.

Bring a valid photo ID
Driver’s license, state ID, U.S. military ID, passport, passport card, or permanent resident card. Must be unexpired.

Do not sign your documents in advance
All documents must be signed in the presence of the notary. Pre-signed documents cannot be notarized.

Have your documents ready and complete
Documents should be fully filled out with no blank spaces that require completion, unless otherwise instructed. Incomplete documents may delay or prevent notarization.

Know who needs to be present
All signers must be present at the time of notarization with their own valid photo ID. If witnesses are required, confirm this when booking.

Plan for 15–30 minutes
Most mobile notary appointments take 15 to 30 minutes for standard documents. More complex packages may take longer — we will let you know in advance.

Appointment Policies

Deposit Policy

A deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit is non-refundable with less than 24 hours notice. The remaining balance is confirmed and due before services begin.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Contact us at contact@blueinknotary.co or 609-544-0108.

Travel Fees

Travel outside Mercer County incurs an additional fee starting at $100. Travel fees are confirmed at the time of booking.

After-Hours Appointments

Standard hours are Mon–Fri, 9 AM–6 PM. Evening, weekend, holiday, and emergency appointments are available and incur additional fees quoted at booking.
