Notary & Remote Services
What is Remote Online Notarization (RON)?+

RON is a notarization performed over a secure audio-visual platform. It is performed by a commissioned New Jersey Notary Public using BlueNotary, a compliant RON technology provider. You and the notary connect online, your identity is verified through multi-factor authentication and credential analysis, and your documents are signed and notarized electronically.

Is Remote Online Notarization legal in New Jersey?+

Yes. RON is authorized under New Jersey law. The notary must be commissioned in New Jersey and use an approved RON platform. Signers may be located anywhere.

📌 Note: Acceptance of the notarized document is determined by the receiving institution or country, not the notary.
Are all documents eligible for Remote Online Notarization?+

No. New Jersey law does not permit RON for wills, codicils, pour-over wills, or other testamentary documents under the NJ Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). These documents must be executed with wet ink signatures and in-person notarization.

Additionally, documents notarized via RON are not eligible for NJ apostille processing, which requires an original wet ink signature and seal.

Do all signers need to be present for RON?+

Each signer must appear individually before the notary via the secure platform and complete their own identity verification. Multiple signers may be accommodated in the same session depending on the document type.

Do you offer mobile notary services?+

Yes. We travel to your home, office, hospital, senior living facility, or other location throughout the Trenton and Mercer County area. Mobile appointments must be scheduled at least 2 hours in advance. Travel fees may apply.

Apostille & Authentication
What is an apostille?+

An apostille is a certificate issued by a government authority that authenticates the origin of a public document for use in another country that is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention. It verifies the signature and seal of the official who signed the document.

What is the difference between an apostille and legalization?+

Apostille: Used for countries that are members of the Hague Convention (120+ countries). Faster and simpler process.

Embassy Legalization (Non-Hague): Required for countries not part of the Hague Convention. The process involves state authentication, U.S. Department of State certification, and embassy or consulate legalization. The process varies by embassy and additional fees may apply.

Do you provide apostille services for all 50 states?+

Yes. We process apostilles for documents issued in all 50 states. Documents may be mailed in or we can arrange pickup. Additional fees and processing times may apply for out-of-state documents.

Do you handle FBI apostille services?+

Yes. FBI apostilles are required for documents used in countries that are not members of the Hague Apostille Convention. Processing times are typically longer than standard apostilles — 3–5 weeks standard, 8–10 business days expedited. We will provide tracking information once documents have been submitted to the U.S. Department of State.

How long does the apostille or legalization process take?+
  • NJ State Apostille — Express: 2–4 business days
  • NJ State Apostille — Next Day: 24 hours
  • FBI Apostille — Standard: 3–5 weeks
  • FBI Apostille — Expedited: 8–10 business days
  • Non-Hague Legalization: Approximately 4–8 weeks

All timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Priority handling may be available depending on destination and agency requirements.

What happens if there is a government shutdown or agency delay?+

If a federal shutdown, embassy closure, or other agency disruption occurs, your documents will be held securely and processed as soon as services resume. We will notify you promptly of any known delays. State-level apostille processing through the NJ Department of the Treasury, Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services is generally not affected by federal shutdowns.

What if my documents are rejected by a government agency?+

We will assist you in understanding the reason for rejection and the available options. Rejection due to document errors, ineligibility, or agency decisions is outside our control. Apostille facilitation fees are non-refundable once processing has begun. Any reprocessing required due to client errors will be at the client’s expense.

Translations
Do you provide translation services?+

Yes. All translations are performed by our trusted partner, Idiomatic Translations. We guarantee the accuracy and completeness of all translations. A notarized Certificate of Accuracy is included with all translations. Translation fees are separate and will be quoted during your document review.

Do you offer document pickup and delivery?+

Yes. We offer courier and document delivery services for clients in and around Trenton, NJ.

Pickup & Drop-Off: We pick up your documents and drop them off at the destination in the same trip. Available within 15 miles of Trenton, NJ.

Mail-In: Out-of-area clients may mail documents directly to us. Processed documents are mailed back to your preferred address upon completion.

Starting at $125. Same-day availability based on schedule — contact us to confirm. Shipping and handling fees are separate for mail-in orders.

Pricing & Payment
Is a deposit required?+

Yes. A deposit is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due after document review and before services are rendered.

What forms of payment do you accept?+
  • Square — mobile and in-person appointments
  • Stripe — online deposits and scheduled appointments
How is pricing determined?+

Pricing is based on the type of service, number and type of documents, destination country (if applicable), processing time, and handling requirements. Notary fees are set by New Jersey law. Additional fees reflect travel, coordination, and administrative handling. Final pricing is confirmed after document review.

Are your prices compliant with New Jersey notary laws?+

Yes. New Jersey law sets the statutory notary fee at $2.50 per notarial act. Service pricing for mobile, apostille, and other services reflects time, travel, coordination, and professional handling — not the notarial act itself.

What is your refund policy?+

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for completed services unless an error was made by the notary. In the event of a notary error, it will be corrected free of charge. The client must notify us within 72 hours of service.

Please contact us before initiating any payment dispute. Chargebacks that overturn a valid charge may be sent to collections for the unpaid balance plus applicable bank dispute fees.

Document Handling & Quality
Can I email my documents?+

Yes, for review purposes. However, original documents are typically required for notarization and apostille processing. We will confirm what is needed after reviewing your submission.

What identification is required?+

Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required. Accepted forms include a driver’s license, state ID, U.S. military ID, passport, or permanent resident card. For RON appointments, identity is verified through credential analysis and knowledge-based authentication (KBA) via the BlueNotary platform.

What if something is incorrect or missing in my documents?+

We review all documents before processing. If we identify an issue, we will contact you to discuss options before proceeding. Clients are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of submitted documents. Errors not due to the notary will be at the client’s expense to correct.
